New Year 2016

Wishing you a blessed, healthy and happy New Year's 2016, and welcome to Heart Tree Yoga's news and blog page!  Here you will find announcements each month about speciality classes coming up, as well as blog pieces reflecting on where life meets yoga and yoga meets life.  

On this page in 2016 I will begin an exploration of yoga's ethical principles, the yamas and niyamas, and how these intersect with yoga and life.  I hope it can be a journey we can take together!

Speciality Class in January:  I will be teaching a LifeForce Yoga for Balancing Mood class on Saturday, January 30th, 2:30-4:00 pm, Body Grace Fitness and Yoga in Vienna, VA.  Reserve a spot at [email protected].

Amy Weintraub visiting McLean, VA in March!  Amy Weintraub, author of Yoga for Depression, will be conducting a LifeForce Yoga to Manage Your Mood: Depression and Anxiety workshop on Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 1:00-5:30 pm at the Dream Yoga Studio and Wellness Center.  I am excited that I will be there assisting!  Contact yogafordepression.com for more information.

Practicum continuing in New Year!  I am continuing to undertake a practicum in functional movement to help individuals find a path to greater ease, fluidity and flexibility in their body through yoga therapy that is gentle and safe.  Please contact me to take advantage of the special one-on-one, 5-session rate during the practicum period-- and start your New Year off with self-care and self-discovery.   As you begin the year anew,  cultivate your awareness and ability to listen to your body's messages, learn how to relax and improve your stability and strength at the same time--and give yourself the path to greater health and healing in 2016.
